The phrase “back to school” gives me the heebie geebies. Maybe because it stirs up some bad memories for me. Ok, so I had issues with separation anxiety for a lot longer than most. That said, I’m going to use the term “back to cool” because we have some really cool school accessories for your little rascals.

Our Friend Mabel

To put it simply: Mabel’s Labels makes durable, affordable labels for the stuff kids lose. But there’s nothing simple about this Canadian owned and operated business. Started by four moms out of the basement of a house seven years ago, the company now operates out of a 7,500-square-foot office and production facility, it employs 30 full-time staff members, and it sells about 50 per cent of its products south of the border.

Everyone is buzzing about Mabel’s Labels. Mabel’s Labels was recently mentioned in Forbes magazine and just a couple of weeks ago one of Mabel’s co-founders, Julie Cole was interviewed by Fox Business.
